Meet the Doulas
Christina Duff, CD DONA

Christina lives in Havertown, PA and is the mother of three adorable children.  She graduated from Drexel University in 2000 and went on to graduate work at West Chester University.  The birth of her first child was such an empowering experience, that she decided she wanted to help other women have their best birth experience.  She has received training as both a birth and postpartum doula, and is a member of both DONA and CAPPA. Christina is an active member and certified breastfeeding counselor for Nursing Mothers Alliance. This certification requires a six week course using La Leche League International's The Breastfeeding Answer Book, and is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Christina teaches childbirth preparation at the Bryn Mawr Birth Center and is a member of the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA). Christina is working towards one day becoming a certified nurse midwife.  Contact Christina.

Sarah holds her Master’s of Science in Clinical & Counseling Health Psychology from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her career she has been providing counseling to individuals struggling with addictions. Sarah enjoys using a mindfulness based approach in counseling. During her own birth experience, she realized the significant overlap of her counseling skills which could be applied to the childbirth process. With these skills she hopes to help women and their partners achieve the best birth experience they imagine. Sarah is pursing training in postpartum mood disorders and would like to continue counseling while providing birth doula services. She continues to be amazed at the strength of the mind-body connection and how much can be achieved by utilizing this relationship. Contact Sarah.
